I played most sports growing up but I was never any good to play professionally. Tho my older brother and junior coach said I had the skills to play professional Rugby League. A cronic knee injury at 19 put paid to that dream. I am tho a big watcher of sports now I am an old fart and will wile away time on the footy (RL).. specially our Kangaroos, swimming, water polo, rowing and sailing. Without doubt my favorite sport is cricket.. Test cricket, to be precise tho I dont mind the T20 stuff too.
My greatest sporting moment was seeing our wonderful Sydney Millenium Games live. Two incidences in particular at the Games blew my mind.. Cathy Freeman's liting of the cauldron and the 60,000 of us that belted out WE ARE AUSTRALIAN during the Closing Ceremony. I have never felt so proud or 'goose fleshy' in my enire life. The Sydney Games was an exhilarating experience.

Did do archery as a kid, had a brief go at it some years ago. The instructor was extremely impressed with my 10, 10, 10 score, to which I responded I couldn't be bothered adding up difficult numbers!
