Has any one had a Camec 2.5 kg front loading washing machine installed in their caravan, I have one and it shakes the the whole back wall of the van! I am trying to get the tech department from Camec to talk to me with no success to date.
Would be happy to have feedback on other types of washers, as i think this one is not going to be in my van for long.
A friend has one in a new age and it shakes the van as well.I dont know much about them but maybe too much in machine.
We have a nce 3 kg top loader and can hardly hear it

We have a Lemair top loaded, works good. Had it for at least 13/14 years. Has paid for itself time and time again.
. Most of the time we hardly notice it when in use. if the load is a bit unbalanced then it will shake a bit when on final spin cycle but so does the front loader we have at home. Is it secured properly in the van ??

We have a Lemair top loader - smooth as silk no noise or vibration - Brilliant accessory. Ours is not bolted down, just a webbing strap over it to travel.

We have the Daewoo 2 kg mini. Works wonderfully, but the shaking of the wall was progressively getting worse. Shook the whole van worse than any corrugated road could. If standing outside it sounded like heavy machinery coming down the road. Thought it was a balance spring, but turns out they don't have any. The lady at the repair shop said the tech had attached it to the wall and when he started it up she ran out side thinking it was an earthquake - it shook the shed so much. It transpires that there is no balance mechanism and you need a solid wall (so a reinforced wall is essential) and the mounting bolts need to be very tight. In my case it was simply a mounting bolt working loose. They are also sensitive to overloading and that will make them shake as well. All good now & the better half is happy with her favourite toy.
Thanks for the replies, the unit is mounted to the back wall with a reinforcing backing plate fitted, the washer shakes no matter how light the load, I am assuming it has no balance springs, in which case it will continue to shake, I will await a reply from Camec and post their comments
I only have a front loader in the house, it is quite easy to not notice the transit bolts that are in the back of the machine. It is also absolutely necessary to have a front loader level in both directions otherwise shake rattle and roll.
