If there is anyone unfortunate enough to have to wear these that has found a brand that actually resembles a foot, ie not heavily sewn square cut toe ends. I am talking about the heavy versions for daily wear, not after operation or airplane versions. thanks

After a lifetime of sitting behind the wheel Rob is much more comfortable with them on. Both Robs parents had poor circulation and unfortunately he inherited the condition. Both his sister and younger brother missed out.
I was getting his socks through the chemist and at one time they were on a prescription but arent today.
I would be interested to know your source and brand if possible.
Angie, we currently use Jobst, from a mob called Wallcann. They last a long time, but the winter version has a horrible square cut toe, which is not very comfortable by day's end. Their sizing chart is pretty good though. Tried Jinni but no joy with them.

I dont have the packaging but I am sure they were Jobst.
We have tried other brands which are generally cheaper but we have found them poor quality with little true support.
Maybe someone else on here has found a good brand.
On a side note do you use a frame to get them on?
Rob has a heavy wire frame that the sock is stretched over and then he puts his foot in and pulls it on.
Angie, they are for my wife, she uses rubber gloves with a good dimple grip, hard to find at the moment as well. Just slowly rolls them on then "inches up her anjkle, then pulls to the top. Tried an applicator, no joy, but use the little slippery sock things also. Really would like to find her a well made brand

I can see how annoying these socks would be for a woman.
Rob complains about the bunching in the toe area and he wears shoes or sneakers.
The wire frame is not that easy to use as it is not made for a large foot, Robs feet are broad as well.
He has tried the gloves method and any hint of perspiration or moisture from the shower make them impossible to get on. The wire frame would be good if it were bigger, Rob is a size 12 shoe, if your wife has a small foot the wire frame would work ok.
At the end he finds that the application of talcum powder is the best way to help them on.
If we ever come up with a better brand I will let you know.
