For more than 12 months I have been extremely depressed. Being a non smoker, drinker or into drugs, I couldn't find the answer.
Visited a series of doctors with no avail. Last doctor I saw put me onto a lot of medications.
As instructed, I took them. Up to 15 a day. Nothing changed. In fact they got worse.
Thoughts of ending it all were foremost in my mind. It was a case of no one to talk to, no one to turn to, and nowhere to go.
Couldn't even ride my pushbike. Always been a careful driver. Copped a speeding fine in Karratha (WA) `1985. Not bad for an old fart, having travelled around Oz 30 plus times.
The turning point was two weeks ago. I told me, NO MORE PILLS!!!!
And it's working. Slowly, but surely I can walk better. I can ride my push bike, and have a control of my life.
In less than three years, I will (maybe) be 80. Life goes on.

Hi, thinking of u pipes. Depression is a dreadful thing to suffer from. I was sick once, i got better. You will too. For what its worth, a behavioural therapist may be worth a try. Sending virtual love and hugs. Rocket
