Tamworth Country Musical Festival, which is usually on, in the last two weeks of January, has been cancelled, for 2021

I applaud the Lord Mayor of Tamworth, for saying that health risks to the people, are greater than the economic benefits

For anyone who had never been to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, it was always very crowded, walking up the street, nearly elbow to elbow

The prices were always a bit higher, (as in most tourist situations), but in the main, I always found the locals, and tourists, to be friendly people

Hopefully when we have eradicated Covid-19 in Australia, Tamworth will return

Usual disclaimer, I am not a singer or musician, but that had never stopped me enjoying myself in Tamworth

smilesmile Perhaps I could be the official emergency singer, for 2022 smilesmile

If the water broke in, or the fire broke out, they could put me up, to start singing

And the place would be cleared, long before the emergency people arrived

Bev also says, that I sing out of tune, and the wrong words to the song

smilesmile But in all honesty I ask the question, should I rely on her judgement, after all she did marry me smilesmile

As far as singing goes, my opinion is that, "I am legend in my own mind"

Alas, I have yet to find anyone else, who agrees with me
