Good one Hans.

I prefer oval handles so they don't twist when I dig/scrape ( one handed) 75cm handle. ( Detector (Z) in the left hand) yours could well be oval could not see in detail.

Have a similar point made out of a spring, but the scraper end is made out of a Farmers Plough Disc, every good steel and very thin, the bottom is about 11 or so cm wide.

Well done Hans. My detecting arm is really bloody itchy with this lockdown. Someone else is finding my gold!

Huon pine was widely used in fishing boat construction in Tassie in 1950's, 60's , beautiful stuff
