Interesting video. Reminds me of the same situation when Enzo Ferrari wanted to sell the Ferrari car business. Enzo had flown to Detroit and was talking to Ford. Something was said and Enzo got the sh1ts and packed up & went back home. Ford wanted to by Ferrari but Enzo would not sell, so ford decided to make their own racing car - the Ford GT40. It took then 3 attempts before they won Le Mans, and a huge cost, but eventually Ford did get there. Maybe Ford executives need to learn person to person skills?

Yes, I was looking at a Tata, some years ago in a ute, but could not get an automatic version, like they sold in India, so did not buy it. I also wanted similar in a Great Wall, and Mahindra, sadly, they still don't do, or didn't do an automatic at the time. The devaluation on the cheaper vehicles is terrible as well, but they are quite reliable. May think about these vehicles again down the track.

I guess I'm driving a Tata, as they now own Land Rover!
