Clarifing 12Volt cable size


I came across this site when trying to work out what cable size I needed for a van mod. Interesting the need to add the length of positive and negative cable when calculating cable size needed for amp load and length of cable run . Some good info here.

As you said Willdoe, there's a lot of good info there!
It's one reason why I buy a lot of cable fro either Jaycar or RTM. The car auto shops mainly keep the so called "15A", "25A" stuff that also takes ages to unwind into straight wire too. Thanks.
