once followed a bloke with a low loader with a dolly up the side of a mountain on a twisty track to retrieve a D9 cat that had a failed final drive, Not once did he have to go foward, just kept backing in at a fair pace too. never seen any one reverse like it since
cheers

I used to be a driver trainer and did my share of teaching novices to back a B-Double, I also drove B-Doubles for a living
Most of my HV driver trainer stuff was working with already licenced drivers to up-skill them (advanced driver training if you like)
(on a side note, one thing being a driver trainer told me is that there are people driving who should be on the road, and I am not talking just about car drivers)
Might be just me but the video's show a normal day in the lfe of a professional driver,
I was just a lowly company driver ( hence not a real truckie ) driving singles but l saw many B double drivers doing the same in large busy depots while all sorts of other yard traffic was going back and forth.
