Could be good news for the red wine brigade

It looks like the price of red wine will drop, due to the Chinese trade war tensions

If we have a good harvest, then there will be a glut of red wine

Pity that I have yet to find a wine that I like to drink, as the flow on, may eventually be cheaper Australian wine prices

Hi Tony & Bev,

I agree with you. Did some looking the other day for value on a bottle of Johnie Walker Red / Black for when we get an itchy throat. Just case its Covid.

Kills the germs at the back of one's throat, you see.

Looked at First Choice Liquor on line. 1125mm Johnie Red for $55. The old duty free size ,they  used to sell at the Airports.

Then I scrolled down a bit further and found a box of 12 premium mixed red table wines for $105 = $8.75 per bottle including delivery.

We like a glass of red with our evening meal.

Keep Safe out there.

Old & Grey
