Best upgrade Longreach Ride

What can we do to our Winnebago Longreach to make our ride less bumpy? Just about sends the passenger into orbit on the really rough roads. Have 30psi on suspension airbags (came std when purchased)

Airbags at 30psi will be as rough as and they are likely to start breaking things too.
Get rid of them and get a decent suspension installed.
Cheers,
Peter

You probably need new shock absorbers, replacement is fairly easy.

Contact the Dealer. I have air bags on my Ute and they are fantastic. You should be able to adjust the pressure. Just a little makes a big difference. Drop the pressure to 25 and try it.

If its like the Explorer . Which has 4 full length leaf springs on rear . There is no variable rate in spring . Its set up the carry 6 to 10 ton ! I have fitted new std Bilstein shocks front and back. Made little difference . I may get the bottom spring taken out or going by Corrol suspension . Fit variable or progressive springs . The type that taper where extra load or travel the spring , extra leaf takes the load . Where previously the whole four leaves where taking the load ! I have 5 to 15lb in rear air bags . 60lb in front springs . It still sits too low !! May need longer coils ?
The firm ride seems to come from the rear . Dropped tyre pressure to 65lb on all four on rear .

We contacted King Springs. Told them our problem. They recommended a new spring and a nearby dealer. 101% better. We haven't hit the front bump stops since the new springs were installed.
