Book a holiday to Tasmania and get the service done at Vinaka in Hobart. Friends from Gold Coast just had theirs serviced for $500 - were quoted over a $1,000 in Qld
Do you realise they just Look at how much linings have warn ? You could do that yourself . Its not hard to change oil, filter . Nice to have log book signed .
There is a facebook thingy called, Fiat Ducato Motorhome forum, (or similar words)
They have a spreadsheet with a lot of Fiat Ducato repair places
They also recommend repair places they have used
Unfortunately as I am on the West Coast, I can not recommend anyone in the Brisbane area
The 100,000 kilometre service will depend on the year/model of Fiat Ducato you have
Some models like mine (2006 with 2.8 JTD Engine on 244 Chassis), has a rubber timing belt, which must be periodically changed
Some models have a steel timing chain, which last for the life of the engine
I personally find, that it pays to get quotes, for any Fiat Ducato services, as they seem to lose something in the translation, from Italian to Australian
Sometimes they seem to confuse the Italian Euro, with the Australian telephone numbers
I wouldnt get most franchise to fix a wheelbarrow ! Yes go to reputable centre that services all vehicles . Often its the apprentice doing the service at a franchise!! Still charge $$ .
