Deleting posts.

Hi Webmaster.

I read in your introduction that you can ban & delete posts on this forum. And rightly so.

So surely, a post  & comment that came in yesterday (Monday) afternoon should be wiped. Sure, you have closed the post, but I feel that all trace of the highly offensive post should be removed.

If not removed, why not?

Teo, Normally posts are closed when subject matter is not tasteful, an attempt to bully, or potentially libelous, etc.
By leaving a closed post on the forum it is indicative that the subject matter should not be raised again.

Cindy (webmaster) as owner of the site, does a great job in sorting the wheat from chaff and it is entirely her prerogative how contentious posts are handled.

Nearly all of the GN's regulars have had their bums smacked (figuratively speaking) and posts closed off, (including me) - It is a right of the owner of the bat to dictate rules of the game.
