Harry, I don't know about their fridges - can only guess they are similar to the el-cheapo brands that are on the market now.
However, I can vouch for their warranties! Keep your receipt (scan a copy if necessary). I bought a grooming kit 2 years ago. It failed, wouldn't charge (suspect the batteries were shot) - the warranty was for 3 years so I thought I'd see whether I'd get a pro rata payment. Nope - they refunded the whole lot!!

I purchased an Aldi (Stirling brand), lift up top, fridge/freezer a few years ago now (2015 I think)
Only one compartment, but you have the option of setting to minus -18º C up to (about) 8º C
So it is either a fridge, or freezer
I purchased it when I was having problems with a 3 way gas fridge, and it worked OK
As I now have a 12 volt compressor upright fridge, the Aldi one is in storage under the bed
I have loaned it to others, who were having problems with their fridge, and no one ever complained that it did not work
I bought one of the 49 litre versions about 5 years ago and it worked really well. Would freeze stuff pretty easily.
Unfortunately it was damaged and not worth repairing.
The handbook that came with it said to contact Dometic agents for any repairs.
Some of their stuff is not El cheapo.
Our fridge freezer was cheap but not nasty. 5 y.o. now and used it all last week. Lives in the Ute. Should have bought two as our caravan freezer is too small.

Harry, The Aldi products generally have a bloody good reputation for reliability - if something goes pear shaped, as Warren stated above their warranty and refund policies are second to none.
