It's not really a rescue. It's a temporary fix. It's useless trying to fix a problem without preventing the problem in the first place. I worry that it will encourage people to pollute more because they think that someone will fix the problem that they are causing. 

We have to prevent the release of CO2 and equivalent gases into earth's atmosphere to address climate change.
