RE: All Terrain Tyres

Hankook list a 265/60/18 in the Dynapro AT2 on their website. Has a load rating of 114 which is good for towing. Mine are definitely this size so you must be asking the wrong people. Try Bob Jane.

Yes, but rang them yesterday and for some reason that is not thd case? Told that size will have to be in the AT M range?

Maybe I will try another dealer to confirm

Cheers

Just rang local Bob Jane and although the size 265/60/18 comes up on the "Hankook website", Bob Jane had NO listing for that size???

He was going to check and get back to me but to be honest after discussions they believe the Wildpeak would be a better option, so maybe I will stick with my original idea as a tossup between them and Maxxis RAZR811(which both do have my size).

But as I have a few more weeks before decision has to be made I will keep watching and listening to others views

many thanks and hopefully these ideas will help others choosing tyres as well

Ian

This is my first LR and although it really is a beautiful car to drive and sensational to tow with they are NOT known for their reliability and cost of repairs.

I have owned mine for 12mths and I do know the history(brother inlaws), there have been some issues, hopefully they have all been sorted for my sake$$

I would be lying if I said I am not worried but always find myself thinking, "hope nothing breaks$$$$"biggrin

Use your own mechanic. I've used the same mechanic for decades.
