Who has got a drone and what do you think of it and use it for??
I got hold of a second hand DJI Spark a couple of weeks ago but could only play with it today Sunday 30/5/21 due to various reasons.
I have been reading and watching videos about the 'Spark' though and reading about rules and regs etc. So today was time to actually fly the beast. I only had it about 2 mts up until I got used to the controls etc then up a little higher then a little higher to around 15mts and creeping further away but still in my sights and I reckon about in a 20mt radius so not all that far really. I am also happy with the quality of the pics and videos.
I found it a lot easier than first thought so that was great. I reckon I will be taking some pretty good videos and pics sooner than soon.
Am I happy? You bet ya. I am a happy camper.
OH! It's red too so matches the Collie and the red on the aluminium teepee.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

There was an article on Microsoft news last night, about a rogue AI drone, that pursued a target in Middle east ( actual area not named), without permission, and killed that person, even though that person was a genuine target, the drone did not have permission to kill him. It was a dedicated kill drone though. They tried to shut it down, then tried to shoot it down, but it evaded all their efforts. This is what you get when you give free will to a machine. They just use logic, and nothing else.

Mike, I don't know how to link, but if you went to Microsoft news for yesterday, you should be able to find it. One day, they will give over all the power to machines, and The Terminator concept will be born, if this single incident, and apparently it has happened a few times last year as well on different drones. and they keep on giving autonomy to these types of machines, this will keep on happening.

The report lacks any detail and the alleged drone is Turkish designed, the Turks are not known for their experience at the sharp end of weapons design and electronic warfare.
Whilst there are certainly moral and philosophical concerns about autonomous weapons I don't think I would place much credibility on this report.
