Diesel heater controller

Hi all, have just fitted a Chinese heater in the van & on the new led controller there is a 'Plateau mode' on it,but book doesn't say what it does.It has a picture that looks like a mountain on the display and i am not game to try it as it says use with caution,so any help would be gratefully accepted.Cheers Rod

-Plateau Function, When altitude increases, automatically switch to plateau mode. ie. When camped at elevated areas (mountains) where air is less dense it allows the heater to draw more atmospheric air.

Not a lot of use in Australia. In the Andes we camped at 4000 metres and the eberspacher wouldn't light so at 0C it was a cold night
