Ronzo, To be on the safe side it might be a good idea to give Alko a call and see if they have any advice, best not to take any chances with brakes. Landy.

Just as another thought if it is anything like the system on my Dexter axle there is a fuse in the system that can be used to de-activate the esc if you are having problems. maybe they puled the fuse before working on your brakes and never replaced it afterwards. Landy

Hi Guru
Thanks for the advice
I had a chance this morning to have a look
Under the van and found the culprit
One of two wires that go to a plastic connection
for the electric brakes has come off its connection
It could have been loose and the mechanic who did
the bearings etc could have knocked it or it could
have just vibrated off
Anyway at least I know what the problem is and will
get an autoelectrician to fix asap
Thanks
Regards
Ron
My esc connection light was having a prob of being red all the time when i plugged in anderson plug . Probb was earthing was intermitten got auto elect to rrewire 7pin and anderson plug prob solved.
