Cheap Generator?

This just appeared on my computer:

Portable inverter generator Osbor Noccam

Not sure if it is US dollars or Australian, but $49.99?

Marked down from $99.99 - which itself is and unbelievably low cost.

Anyone game to order one?

Murray

PS Edit: Had a more thorough read through the specs - the output voltage is 110 Volts! Not much of our stuff works on that.

Sorry for getting everyone's hopes up!

But I wonder if Australian Hondas and such will ever get as low.

If buying cheap ? Make sure you buy from a store, retailer that will warrant ! In some ways an extra 150+ amp alternator on drive vehicle with inverter ,solar and batteries . Is less weight, complicated ?

Probably a scam website
Operation for several weeks , never send any product and disappear with several 100K $

The image shows its only a new website.  ( Domain just registered in April )

Other reputation sites note ... it does not have options that would enhance the website for eCommerce ....

Hope this helps.

If they had put a decent price on it they might catch a few poor souls.

Plenty of these operators floating around preying on the gullible.

An awful lot of scam sites popping up in Facebook, etc. Take a note of the seller's website, then check it on Scamadviser.com, URLVoid, Desenmascarame or other scam hunting sites. If it doesn't get a good report let the Aus Government know through their Scamwatch site.

Does the sites address start with a HTTP or HTTPS? The S in HTTPS stands for secure and means that the portal uses a proper SSL Certificate. If an online shopping site doesnt have proper encryption measures nothing can guarantee the safety of your private information or payment credentials.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam. You are right to take care!
As Brodie says, "SCUMBAGS"!
