Does anyone know how to update the Sphere TV? I have tried to download some apps, Netflix, Foxtel Go, but get a message stating the TV is not compatible. It is supposed to be a smart TVs but doesnt seem very smart to me. Cheers

Did you have any joy with these updates? I have the Sphere Smart TV S7led236btwifi  and its the most frustrating electronic device Ive ever owned. I would never buy one again. Its impossible to log into my subscribed Apps. It just goes around in circles asking me to log in.Im about to throw the POS in the bin, right after I put my fist through the screen.

Does anyone else have this smart TV and have any suggestions?

Im trying to log into my Premium YouTube channel, Google, SBS on Demand, ABC etcall of which I have a personal account.

Whats the trick ?

At the risk of stating the "Bleedin' obvious" have you contacted the sellers/importers of the TV?

A quick Google finds some information which states "Smart TV functionality is available across the full Sphere S8 Range" which makes me wonder if your S7 was perhaps not so smart?

If the suppliers won't help and TV is important to you then I suggest you ditch it buy a name brand and give Sphere a pasting on the review sites.

I have had two sphere tv s.

One came in the van and one I foolishly bought from a dealer for the annexe.

Mine werent smart ones and neither were the remotes, both of them broke. One the buttons stuck down, and next, the on and off didnt work
I wouldnt have another one if it was smart enough to make us toast and vegemite of a morning

I bought an Hitachi smart TV which came preloaded with Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, a browser and more BUT it won't allow additional apps to be installed (Binge, Stan, ABC iview, etc).

So, I bought an IPTV box on Ebay and I don't use the TV's apps.

...are there any recommendations to replace the not smart Sphere TV I have? I am going to go down that road as I want the ability to tune in to other channels, such as Netflix.

The Sphere TV in my 2018 van has no ability to receive WiFi based signals. I would like to replace the set with something similar size but actually "smart"

Thanks
