DIY DIODE REPLACEMENT DOME LIGHT

I recently purchased 10 of these fish eye diode type lights on crap bay for less then $12 and fitted out all three dome lights in my little van with VERY pleasing results - these are easily as bright if not brighter then the originals and use such a ridiculous little amount of power that I don't care if they stay on 24/7.

Fitting was easy, all I did was drill a hole in the plastic dome light cover and fitted a diode as per the image, removed the old incandescent globe and soldered the tag ends of a single diode on to either side of the dome light globe clips and BINGO !

This may not be for everyone but maybe will prompt you with some ideas for other uses.

Ask yourself - "if it isn't fun, then why am I doing it" ???? lol.
