Bobdown, this attachment you left a link for is carrying a destructive script, which you cannot get out of, unless you crash your computer, which I had to do, on 3 occasions, to clear the link. You should check your links before you upload them. It now means I will have to be very careful on clicking on any link loaded on this forum.

Ric, I did not have a problem. I use 10 bit Malware fighter which declared the attachment as safe. It checks every attachment before I open it so have never had this problem. I assume you have some sort of defence against malware if so it should have picked it up?

Sorry Ric that you are having trouble, but I think it may be your end of business.

The attachment came to me as an email which are all scanned first or they will be in the junk file, you might not be able to open a pps (powerpoint) which are microsoft office.

There are malware scanners which are free to download.

Anyway, you are probably not old enough to remember My Three Sons and Leave it to Beaver. biggrin

As with most posts with attachments from The Forward Pocket, they go into my Download and then I can open. I use Avast and it has not screamed at me.

No problem for me. I downloaded it and scanned it before opening.

As noted by Bobdown, I suspect it is due to being Powerpoint format. If you have Microsoft Office, or equivalent that can read .PPS files it should open fine.

I don't have MO, as I deleted it and some others to gain more memory. I don't need office files or similar so, that could be the problem, but to lock my screen, has only ever happen when something has come thru that my computer couldn't protect from. And that has only happened once before about 3 years ago.
