Take care, out there.

He knows if you've been speeding, He knows if you are drunk

You were "lucky" Mike. The State Government of Victoria has announced an increase in penalties for speeding, with excessive (or high range) speeding in the firing line. The changes, which are now in effect, mean anyone who is caught exceeding the speed limit by 25km/h or more but less than 35km/h has their licence taken away for three months.

 Why would you do that?

Why not?

Care to debate the merits of different speeds in motor vehicles?

Our do you always simply do what you're told?

I don't.

Were you towing a caravan?

I've noticed that speed limits have been reduced drastically over the years, yet cars have become much safer to drive. Where's the logic in that?

I remember driving at the posted speed limit of 100kph on a cr@ppy back road in a car that handled like a boat and had drum brakes all round. Nowadays that same stretch has a much better road with an 80kph speed limit. My current vehicle has ABS and discs all round.
