skylight problem

i have a jayco starcraft 2015 caravan model 16.51.  Inside the skylight there is a sliding flyscreen and sliding blockout consetina blind. Somehow the cord on the side of the sliding flyscreen has come off. I have tried to put it back into position and that works until i try and slide it and then it just comes off again. not sure how to fix, and whether to take the skylight apart to see whats causing this problem. Anybody else had this problem or know how to fix ?

You can take them down, as I did with the same problem.

The string goes around 4 corner plastic pins. If the string is showing, likely a pin is broken. To keep it in place and working, you need to work out something to use as a pin to guide the string around.

I used small self tapper screws. String is tight, but works when I do decide to move screen or blind.

Happy to help. They are a Heki hatch, and ours are on our 2012 Starcraft Outback.

Might stop Judi hitting you with the big stick!
