Bungendore Showground (Camps  633) What a great place to meet up with Family after all the lock-downs.

Volunteer Camp Host (Chris) was most welcoming - Although we elected to take a site with power $22/pn per vehicle, other Family members took camping only option $14/pn per vehicle. Even parked their camptrailer under cover in Pavilion.

Newish camp kitchen was fantastically equipped  - ablutions block old but kept clean - very spacious campground, lush green grass (a rarity lately)

Some difficulty in taking big heavy van to dump point owing to very wet/boggy access - required 4WD to pull out of area.

A very pleasant break for a week with loved ones that we have been separated from, for so long.

10 out of 10 in our books.

Yes Possum, a good place to visit, plus s a very friendly town, a few clicks up the road, too far to walk

In normal (before Covid) times, after the Tamworth musical festival, there is enough time to go to the Bungendore music festival, at that showground

We have been a few times, and the volunteers, cook up a bit of takeaway food, you can purchase

The weather in Tamworth and Bungendore, (at the music festivals) is like chalk and cheese

At Tamworth it is T shirts, and at Bungendore it is pullovers
