I heard the sad news today that Dennis Waterman has died in Spain aged 74. He was a great actor appearing in The Sweeney, Minder and New Tricks as well as several films.

I thought both Minder and New Tricks were much lesser shows after he left. A truly sad loss to the entertainment industry.

Oh, that is sad, rest in peace my tv hero.

I did make a point when home to watch the shows he appeared in, Tuesday night a ritual with my favourite glass and New Tricks.

Unfortunately I feel they are not making class entertainers like Dennis anymore. Rest In Peace mate job well done.
