Many, many, many great songs were released throughout the 1960s and so, for me, compiling a top 10 list was challenging; I was reluctant to exclude a vast number of songs.

 

Nonetheless, after a lot of thought, and quite a few second thoughts, here is my list of the top 10 songs of the 1960s:-
