I constantly have trouble clipping down the roof of our van. Too much bedding, but generally it does clipmdown fine.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
I was thinking of getting a new clip with a longer bolt these but am told they don't make them

These over centre latches are stainless steel & take a padlock, nicely made. For size reference the horizontal aluminium is 40mm wide & the vertical bit of aluminium where hook is screwed on is 50mm wide. There are larger latches available.
