Not out of hand at all - there's a spare socket bottom middle....

But if you look closely you can see that each plug is numbered. So the whole power distribution is well organised!

Reminds me of when a few years ago we had a part time electrician who also worked part time at Crown Casino. During construction they were unable to source some electrical distribution equipment and so the gaming machines were connected using power boards and power cords which were all hidden in the floor cable ducts. The electrician mentioned that the heat generated in the cable ducts was unbelievable.

For those puzzled by this photo (as I was), it was also on ABC News online showing an electrician's home setup to supply his cannabis growing setup, and using "free" power as well.

Cannabis grower gets his electrician's licence back

I don't think I'd want him doing any work for me :)

That's where I got it for a bit of stirring.

Maybe there is the odd caravan out there with a bit "too much" solar!

Nothing wrong with his work. He used lugs on his cable ends. Doesnt that show pride in your work.  biggrin

Way back when we had the SEV I worked with a guy, he was a licensed A Grade electrician before I knew him, but had lost his licence 3 or 4 years earlier. Was up a ladder in a front yard putting the service fuse back in. Got down the ladder an a guy said "What do you think your doing". Was an inspector from the SECV just driving past. How soft have we got now. This guy does doggy work, steals power, growing illegal plants and gets his icece back.

Probably not provided you have the necessary space for the panels, and the weight carrying capacity. My van has 1650 watts solar, but last month I met a chap who had 6000 watts solar on his bus. Very pleased with himself, he was! Where I am parked up in the bush today it is only 11 degrees, and very overcast with 100%  cloud cover, but still I"m getting production of around 300 watts although batteries have reached only 13.6 volts. Too much Solar? Don't think so. Cheers
