Oysters off the menu due to floods

I just read this about the oysters not being available:

Nambucca River oyster growers left unable to harvest as floods trigger sewage spill

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-07-08/oyster-sewage-spill-floods-wipe-out-oyster-stock/101219594

I hope it's not everywhere. I like oysters.

Heaviest rain since 1881 according to the linky thingy within the linky thingy.

Oysters from SA can be very nice. The Pacific Oyster is very tasty compared to the Sydney Rock Oyster.

Growing oysters can be a risky business.

They can get hit with algael blooms and the odd blind mullet invasion as per the ABC story.
