I think they have displayed a lot of character and principle, especially the women, in what they have done. They would have been fully aware of the financial repercussions if they refused the sponsorship yet still went ahead. The cricketers are raking it in and would have sponsors lined up in any event.

I think there will be a rush to sponsor the Diamonds as they now have this reputation for being prudent as to where the money comes from.

Perhaps Barnaby could get a team together and she could sponsor that one.

I dont think they would go that far nor should they. It might only be a token effort but they have made their statement. Good on them.

What a pathetic lot.

They will all go back to their homes driving their cars and enjoying the trillion other items that mining gives them in life.

They will go off and hail how good it is to have the great big wind farm on the hill and those solar panels on the roof and they have just put the order in for that EV ignoring the fact that without mining and people like Gina Reinhardt 's father, they wouldn't be enjoying any of that.
This country's prosperity revolves around mining whether we like that fact or not.
We now have a generation of people who I honestly think are unaware of where their food and other goods comes from short of the shop.

If billionaires like Gina want to put some of the money they have made from mining back into the community via sponsorships, good on them I say, and these woke virtue signallers need to keep their traps shut or go live like a Neanderthal.

 Gina dose more for the traditional owners than her father, these precious individuals are basing their case on what Lang did and said that was 40 years ago. You cannot alter the past you can only learn from it.

Gina has a bit of pocket change that she spreads around, ask the swimmers, rowers and other sports that prosper because of her support.

I have a feeling that a couple of members of the team have brow beaten other team members to support their misimformed position.

Actually Netball Australia needs to harden up and tell the players if you dont want to wear the uniform then you can choose not to play, there will be plenty of others who would be proud to play in whatever uniform which has the sponsors logo on it.

I'm sorry be these players are spoilt brats, have an option if you dont like the sponsor then dont play, just like the Manly 7, an AFLW player chose not to play last weekend because of the Pride jumper and everyone supported her decision.
