Whilst I believe Ivan's question is rhetorical, anybody who knows anything about weights would have quickly determined that the last thing that outfit needs is a WDH. The tow vehicle has dual rear wheels, so should have a reasonable carrying capacity. The trailer appears to be a lightweigh model with limited carrying capacity. The weight of the  "pick-up truck" (Goddamn!), along with weight transferred from the 5th wheeler, would quite possibly exceed the carrying capacity of that  light trailer so the last thing needed is the transfer of weight from the tow vehicle's rear axle to the trailer's axle group. Again I will say, given Ivan's sense of humour, that the question is a rhetorical one? Cheers

Forget the weight question. I would be more interested in how legal it would be!

Makes a B double look tame.

You are, of course, correct Possum. It was so obvious that I refrained from comment. Cheers

I think I have seen this photo before and the story behind it is in Alaska and was an emergency retrieval.
