Printing from ipad or iphone

Whilst travelling I use the data on my iphone to connect to the internet.  What printer do I need to buy to be able to print, for example, my emails?  I will be selecting personal hotspot on my phone and then using the ipad.

Hi Sandy and welcome to the forum

I bought a very cheap Cannon Printer from the local Post Office for printing documents.

From memory it was approximately $39.00

As with all printers it is the printer cartridge that is the main cost. Many people claim it is cheaper to buy another printer than to buy a replacement cartridge.

I personally dont believe this as the cartridge that generally comes with a new printer has a smaller printing capacity than the replacement.

Another thing you may want to consider is do you really need colour for if you dont then just print in black as it is a lot cheaper.

There are available mini printers that travelling accountants may use but my research revealed that they were generally quite expensive.

I kept the original box mine came in but after storage for a time the cartridge dry out anyway.

The last printing I had done I stored the document on a memory stick and convinced the park manager that she might copy my document for me.

When I was leaving I bought her a nice bottle of wine.

Another option is to have a tablet that has a magnetic pen for signing and editing and scan the signed document and email the document to the recipient.
All done on the IPad.

I sold a complete property via a real estate agent using that method during the early part of Covid closure and lockdown.

Welcome to GN's Barbara, We utilise Regional libraries for WIFi and printing whilst travelling.

I imagine any small cordless desktop printer would able to be used directly from mobile phone - Unless you do a lot of printing it wouldn't be worthwhile.

You can also print from Officeworks and probably BigW, Kmart.

Yes and as well as libraries and even some council offices do printing.

If in a reasonable sized town it should not be a problem finding someone to print a few pages.
