I got an online survey from them, a theme in the questions was to charge per site. They want to remove the rate for solo travellors and make us subsidize couples and families. They did this at bournda about 20 years ago. I told them it was not fair that we should pay the same as a couple or family. They already get generous tax deductions and ftb etc.
They are also looking into charging different rates for different size sites. Those with big rigs watch out.
If your a solo travellor and not happy with having to pay double the rate write to npws Nsw and or the minister. The nsw gov is trying to corporatize an asset which belongs to us all.
I've found most Caravan parks, campgrounds and roadhouses change the same for one or two people.
Although Woomera Caravan Park was the exception.

Nothing the NSW Govt does is a surprise to me.We live close to Myall Lakes National Park. Over the last couple of years we have witnessed a decline in patronage. The reasons appear to be unpredictable weather which changes on a daily basis and the upward spiral of fees. And a pensioner cannot even get an annual pass unless you have a vehicle registered in your name.

I have a mate who works for National Parks and Wildlife.
It appears in time the parks will all be handed over to the original land owners to be managed.
Also is likely public access for many will be limited.
Expect change in the coming years with National Parks.
The Greens movement also will be badgering for less access......

It will be amazing how much access the almighty dollar will get you.
It wont be long and many of us will be paying rent on our own homes.
I would like to see the deal that will be done for Kirribilli House. Imagine the cost of that rent.
I suspect recent State Govt overtones and prospective moves away from Stamp Duty will incorporate an eventual Land Tax in it's place.
Of which I suspect also in time will have an additional levy to fund original landowners.
The only changes we can expect - are to expect change.
In time I don't think it will matter anyway. One very large over populated aggressive nation to our north will eventually own us in coming decades anyway?
I will soon be entering a fight against "overseas investors" building "flats" next door to me in a completely unsuitable rural setting.
They do this all over the place and the Modus Operandi is the same everywhere. Get a local draughtsperson to do the initial plans, to get it passed. Then use their own "people", to alter the plans, then remove garages, windows etc to increase income, which in turn means all the old vehicles on the street etc.
Little or no regard for the locals, fill them up with social security recipients, the (govt funded rental assistance) profits go "overseas", little or no capital gains tax contributions. They are simply too smart and too greedy for we honest, hardworking Australians

Trees GONE ,Just bricks and Paving.
The same people responsible, campaign against pollution, global warming etc and at the same time cant work out why the rest of the infrastructure needed to support a new heavily populated suburb takes years to catch up.
