NSW Tolls ePetition to Government

Hello All

I see heaps to posts about the NSW road tolls. Many of you would be aware that Motorhomes (over 2.8m) are charged the maximum and have no rebate scheme available to them. I am looking for all NSW resident's (caravan owners as well) to sign my ePetition that I have lodged. My local member supports the petition. The reason I think caravan owners should sign it as well is that any progress we make on these tolls is all incremental. Please all sign the petition and ask all your family members, friends and neighbours to sign it as well. You don't have to own a motorhome to sign. I have been advised by Transport NSW that the Treasury is currently undertaking a review of the toll system (but of course I can't find out who in treasury to contact to make a submission) so now is a great time to be heard (again):

FYI: As of today, I have over 600 people and it's only been live for 3 days.  Please sign :)   Feel free to post that you have so we can see how many we are getting from this awesome group.

Fraser, thank you for raising the petition. I am motorhome owner and do not like being charged outrageous truck fees for using the tollway system. I have signed and encourage others to sign also.

Awesome Gary. Please feel free to copy and paste the link into other social media forums (I have done a few motorhome ones on Facebook) and also email it to family and friends. Petitions are very much a numbers game and people don't have to own a motorhome to sign the petition. Many thanks again !!!!!

Out of principle we avoid tolls. When traversing Sydney we go around the toll road. Also do not feed parking meters.

Sydney has the high till road costs in the world.

Whenarewethere..... totally agree. We are often on our way to specific events (eg tennis tournaments for our young nephew) so time is sometimes important and toll road obviously save heaps of time in these circumstances. I am (sort of) "happy" to pay the same toll as I would if I was in my ford Territory, that's all I am aiming for.  Please support the petition as all progress is incremental (lol....eventually they did drop the toll totally on the harbour bridge).

Thanks Aussie1. We would love to get over there (WA). If you have friends or family in NSW are you able to cut and paste the link to the epetition and email it to them to sign for all of us financially challenged drivers. They don't have to own a motorhome or caravan to sign :)    Here it is again: https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/la/Pages/ePetition-details.aspx?q=eCGxYAgQt9DCWl8NVVrirg

I see that the petition is only available to NSW residents. That is unfortunate given the number of drivers from other states driving their RV's caravans etc through NSW.

Thanks Saaby.... I know it is a real bummer, but it appears the NSW Govt don't accept input from other state residents which is crazy given that other people do actually commute on their roads.  The only think I can suggest is to really hit them hard by sending the link to everyone and anyone that you know in NSW and ask them to sign it on your behalf. They only need to be a NSW resident with an email address.  LOL..... my young nephew felt really empowered signing the petition. So encourage anyone you know who has small children to really go full tilt on them :) :) :)
