Go & ask then to supply a taper, intermediate & bottom tap & T handle & cutting fluid. Then you are right for next time.

You could say you installed the shower, turned the shower on, it flew off and broke the mirror, hit you on the head (bandage required), then landed on you toe (crutches a good look).

The unit did come with " free thread tape "

Being made on a Y day, it will fail not far out of warranty, so will need to be unglued.
