on the road again

Hi All Nomads

we will be heading to warmer climates  again this winter and are looking for advice on where to go. Thinking of north NSW or southern Queensland coasts but wondering what the impact of the Floods have had on local communities and their need to use caravan parks for their accomadation?.Any feed back welcomed.

The other option is for us to cross the Nullabor and head to Perth ,Margaret River and the Exmouth region. there's just the two of us and our dog he travels really well.

we have a  supreme executive which is self contained and tow with a Ssanyong Musso ute.

Any pointers good or bad are very welcome

Thanks in Advance

Edmond

Not sure about the impact of tourist in the north of the eastern States, (due to floods etc), as this year, I only got as far north as Tamworth

But in my opinion

It is probably a bit more pleasant drive across the Nullarbor, in the winter, rather than the summer time

Also the Exmouth region is usually prebooked during the local winter migration, so it may pay to prebook, if staying in that region

Tip; when traversing the Nullarbor East to West, travel early mornings to avoid pushing into the prevailing wind

Thanks for prompt reply Tony,

Looks like we have a bit research to do, we just don't want cause any more grief to residents in the affected areas but also want to support the regions as well .

Cheers

Edmond
