An addendum to the "Is the world going crazy" thread.
Terrigal Surf Club has (separate) male and female change rooms, which are equipped with showers.
Terrigal Surf Club has enacted a 'no nudity' rule for both change rooms.
If a person wants to use the change rooms to get out of his/her street clothes and put on his/her swimming costume, he/she MUST do so with a towel wrapped around his/her body.
If a person wants to take a shower in the change room, he/she MUST wear his/her swimming costume in the shower.
Terrigal Surf Club is reported as saying, " . . . .the club is a family-friendly environment and that nudity is not acceptable as per the Child Safe Policy."
No nudity, but then they are wearing a thong that is so brief, what is the visible difference.
Really absolutely nothing left to one's imagination. I'm not necessarily complaining over a divisive thread of this situation!
Manly Beach. Often rear ends are facing the promenade, can't work out why they typically face this direction, other that they want to look at the ocean, covered with the subtle design statement of a Gutermann thread. Surprisingly I have fallen off the promenade, but boy do those tree hurt!

A sad reflection on modern society which is not surprising, presumably an economic decision on the part of the club to protect themselves from potential lawsuits should there be any 'incidents' involving, or in the presence of children. As said, individual cubicles would aid the situation.
