Wineguard Antenna amplifier connected to Milenco antenna

I wish to swap my Wineguard Sensor antenna with a Milenco 900 multi dimensional antenna.

( so tired in rotating it to find channels and raising and lowering it all the time )

But can i plug it into the existing mounted winegard amplifier that is in the ceiling cavity and do away with the amplifier supplied with the mileno and have it work correctly

Stefan

Friends had a Multi Directional (Ball Shaped) but they utilised the 12V booster.

Stefan,

The head amplifier is actually in the Winegard antenna.  The device in your ceiling is the power feed unit which extracts out the RF signal via a filter.  In other words you can use the Winegard power feed unit but you will need a RF amplifier at the antenna for optimal performance.

Let us know when you find out if it can be done. I have a Winegard system and would also prefer a fixed omni directional antenna.
