Something I had never done before, mostly because I could not be bothered, was to send feed back
to the ABC. This one was about Stan and how he made watching Q & A a PITA. Even Tony Jones was
easier, but old Stan always had to throw a very bias something, whether it was a comment, a reflection
or just his opinion.
Pleaded with the ABC to get rid of him and make Q & A more watchable. As mentioned here, he jumped
before he was pushed. I also understand there were things said by him during the ABC's coverage of the
Coronation that raised eyebrows.
Next on the list is Sarah Fergusson. Leigh Sales was always going to be a hard act to follow but ...
I'm with you, Stan. Keep fighting the good fight against the bigots and the racists. Ignore the old farts and the sycophantic monarchists. They are a dying breed from a bygone era.

Call us all sorts of things, true or untrue, but truth about Stan Grant the man is that there is absolutely nothing good about him.
As a journo, you keep your personal opinions, views etc to yourself. Look where that got him by not observing the basics
of being a journo. Did he resign or was he asked to so that a dismissal is not recorded on his CV. Resigning always looks
Just watch him align himself with a political movement where he feels he can launch himself.
Yep, the big pay out from their abc will fund that.
I suspect your right, he will find another soapbox somewhere, regardless, his credibility has taken a big hit.
The Australian Monarchist League raised a petition/campaign that I believe was a driving force behind his removal, his rant before the Coronation broadcast was a big mistake.

I see the ABC are now saying that after the racism allegations, they cannot appoint a White Male to fill Stan Grants previous position on Q&A.
Which as I see it...
1. Is a Racist decision. Can you imagine the vitriol that would be thrown if they said it won't be a black woman but this probably won't raise a comment in the mainstream media
2. Means that they're potentially not going to put the best person in the role.
So all the "tossers" ABC mates have staged a walk out in support of the drop kick.
Hope they stay out, certainly won't be missed. In fact a good chance to re staff a very "sick" and one sided organisation.
One can only hope or dream perhaps.

Anything to the left of Murdoch's rags is biased? <sigh>
