Hi All, on my Winnebago console the fresh water level is showing continually as 0, when I know it is full or has water in it. From what I understand these units can be calibrated, I have looked in the manual but I can't find any information as to how to go about this. I have attached a picture of the unit, does anyone know how to go about calibrating them? With Regards Brian
I can't help you with query - I looked up (American) Winnebago and discovered that they appear to have "Wonky Water Gauges" - Is your unit a genuine Winnebago or a Knock off made by Knott Industries in Sydney that now have the name AVIDA?
I am guessing here, but many of these electronic gizmos have one button to perform differing functions - I would try combinations of buttons to see if that is case on your unit.
Of course it could be that your sender float is jammed in low position.

Sorry, new here, hope you don't mind if I venture an opinion, but,
'Calibrating' a water tank sounds a bit suss to me at this level of equipment. I'm not surprised you can't find it in the UM. Laboratory stuff maybe, but RV's? The only way I would think you might get a similar result to digital calibration is to remove the sender from the tank and manually bend the float shaft. Very 'agricultural', but effective.
Having said this, I'm with Possum3! Dodgy sender unit. Not an uncommon thing with fuel tanks and, as indicated, i wouldn't expect space shuttle quality components, Winnebago or not. Sounds perfectly feasible to me.
Then again, I might be completely wrong and you can indeed calibrate the unit from the wall control!
Hi Possum 3 and Murray, The reason I thought it may be able to be calibrated was it has happened before and when I went to get it repaired the mechanic said it would be "easy". Also there are some online instructions on how to calibrate other units so I assumed mine could be also and someone here would know. Looks like it is back to the drawing board, thanks for the input guys! Brian
