Aussie James Webb came third in a hot dog eating competition in the USA, eating 47 hotdogs.
To me, that competition is nothing short of gluttony. An extreme display of the Western world excess.
There are thousands, if not millions of people in the world who don't have enough too eat, yet people laugh at and applaud this disgusting behaviour.
Collo.
I couldn't eat one!

Interesting viewpoint.
What are you thoughts on:-
China's Hungry Ghosts Festival?
Thailand's Songkran water-throwing festival?
Spain's La Tomatina?
Mexico's Noche de Rábanos?
India's Holi?
I think any festival/competition that uses food as a source of amusement, is wasteful and could be put to better use, like feeding people.
