Thanks Graham. Turning them into poovta wagons to cater to the lovely people who can't change gears, and who think that smaller engines equal better fuel economy. They don't.
The little V8 is so understressed that it'll go forever, but at least it's still available for those who understand.
Given that already it's almost impossible to buy a 79 I wonder why Toyota has even bothered? Dumbed down.

Thats why the current 79'R is in short supply, new model will be available in 4th Qtr this year.
