Another lockdown/pandemic travellers worry mooted internationally

My reading of overseas news is indicating worrysome times possibly afoot at the

end of this year given the predictions of a "new variant" EG.5 "Eris" being noted

in the USA, in Australia BA.2.86 "Pirola" and seven other countries on alert.

Further reasons for concern are the USA elections - lockdown guarantees a high

percentage of mail-in votes - and you know what happens to them - but all good

reason for a "Pandemic" scare.

Monitor the news closely - we don't want to be caught interstate like last time!

There's heaps more, including 100's of overseas and Australian media reports but

not wise to post here.

Just be careful and healthy. Don't be aged!!!

B

Don't care where we get caught just as we didn't care last time. Big advantage is it is much harder to lock a motorhome down, especially when they give several days notice.

My personal opinion, is that we have not seen the last of Covid

I believe in lockdowns, as it can stop the spread of disease

Since Covid started, I have always been aware, that I maybe stranded/lockdown, in places other than my home base

I always thought that I was healthy, for my age, and up to date with any inoculations
I caught Covid in January (this year) 2023
It was very inconvenient, and knocked me about, a bit

As I was about 4,000 kilometres from my home base, and a bit too crook, to make a mad dash home
I isolated myself, in a free camp

I was actually surprised that in January 2023, there was no legal requirement to isolate, only that you had to wear a mask

Just had a Covid jab today

I was told (I did not ask), that this jab covers the old strain, plus the new BA 4-5

Although I hope that this new strain does not take off, and that there are no lockdowns

I will, follow all medical lockdown directions/guidelines, if/when they happen

The brainwashing is complete. No one will participate in another lockdown. Enough is enough of this Covid madness.

The biggest load of corruption and overreaction by governments and media enforced on the population, using fear.

Why won't the government hold a royal commission into the Covid response, its because of the political lies by state governments to support their draconian treatment of the people. The potential litigation against state governments would bankrupt them.

Covid, Climate Change and Green Power are all overreaction, give them all the Middle Finger and tell them to get s*****d

Use your brain and compare the death rates in the UK and USA against Australia. Thankfully, bozo and boofhead weren't controlling COVID policy in this country.
