Never having yet had an onboard inside shower (only external) I can only imagine that a slatted base would be required. Either a rubber doormat type or wooden slats perhaps. Most important is good drainage. Multiple drains, one in each corner, avoids puddles when camped on anything but perfectly level ground. Any type of mat would need to avoid preventing drainage.
A well drained shower base would probably dry more quickly without having any sort of mat on it?
Just thinking aloud. You'll probably get inundated with a variety of brand name mats specifically for the purpose now!. :)
If shower water is due to more of a mould issue, get a Raven 200mm squeegee, longer not so good (it's also good for car windows in the morning) to remove splashes & condensation.
We live in an extreme humidity environment & to minimise mould we squeegee all shower surfaces, & also then put the extractor fan on.
Nevertheless we still get a bit on mould, just how it is.

It took me a while to get my head around this post.
But when I read it again tonight the penny dropped. The issue is about the floor of a COMBO Shower Toilet.
Having a separate shower & toilet in our van, a wet shower cubicle floor is not an issue although when we first got the van we used a purpose made rubber shower floor mat that had suction caps on the bottom to keep it in place.
We just wanted to stop the fibre glass floor from scratching.
Eventually just binned it because it was a PITA taking it out to dry and guess what, the floor is not scratched after 23 years! I think that you would have the same issue with any mat & might be better off with some sort of squidge mop & perhaps an old towel to dry off the floor after use.
We had the Combo in our Destiny, all we did was wipe the walls n floor after a shower.
We had a Jayco Freedom with a combo and did the same. We showered one after the other and the last wiped out the entire combo with a super soaker cloth. This way the combo was cleaned regularly and was always clean.
