 Not exactly in all respects. I had a hobby in model trains. 

 

Started a job in architectural models, a completely new career change.

At the time I thought this would be great. But at the end of the day I couldn't face a hobby basically in the same field.

Stopped my hobby for a few decades. Have now taken it up where I left off due to retirement, to some degree, on a train layout which was 80% done where I left off.

 

Lesson learnt, your hobby needs to be different from your career.

Nothing is a FACT until it happens.

And another that I have tried to live by and install in our "3 BOYS"

Things work out best for those who make the best out of the way things work. ( Think about it )
