You may be right but I don't think it could be as bad as that. That would mean it could not tow my van at all.

I think I read somewhere that the payload of around 600kg is with the tank full already. So in my summary above I assumed that the unladen weight specified included a full tank of fuel.

In Australia, kerb weight includes the full fuel load and fluids, therefore payload is weight beyond the kerbweight.

We had our 24ft van for 3 years, found it difficult sometimes getting into some spots. Ok when in. Downsized to a 21ft.

Van with car weighed 200kilo spare on the 24ft.

 And we haven't yet mentioned bull bar, roof rack, beer fridge and slide, long range fuel tank, tools etc.

Unfortunately, although it is a lovely car, the LC200 is the most over-rated vehicle  around. Cheers
