 Hi Dennis, Seems that there is not much help available from your fellow members, and I certainly can offer no advice. Sorry.

But a quick look online shows about $160k which seems a lot if money for "travelling a little just a few days here and there".

Would it not make more sense to maybe hire a suitable motorhome if abd when required?

 Unless of course money is of no concern, and you've got lots of Gold? Cheers

G'day Dennis, Are you intending to travel solo, or with a companion?

If travelling for a few days only, perhaps a Toyota High Ace with an awning affixed would get you out there. They can be made quite comfortable for small trips, and easily made into a defacto camper van with little effort.

If you decide you like the lifestyle there is always a ready market for campers, you can upgrade to a purpose-built RV later on.
