Tiny town with an amazing large modern, immaculately clean laundromat,  with both coin & eftpos machines, coin dispenser, auto powder in wash,  and free wifi. Chemist next door, Groceries, Fruit/veg shop & great butcher! Full of surprises. Only 10 km from Pt Parham if you are staying there.

In the good old days this was a popular hang out on long weekends for the local coppers with a Flash for Cash set up right at the change of speed sign coming from the north.

I don't know if they still operate that way there. Here in Nth Qld there's a proliferation of red light & speed cameras. Look out.
